Welcome to FANSPLOSION!
FANSPLOSION is a multi-fandom event taking place during January 2025. The goal is to create 30 fanworks in 30 different fandoms, released during the month of January.Particpation
Individuals, or teams of up to 6 members may participate. Try to find a team with varied interests so you can get to 30 fandoms!This is an all ages/SFW event! You may take inspiration from the prompts for NSFW content, but please do not post it to the event hashtag.What to do
In early November, the prompts will be posted. You may use the months of November/December to prepare your pieces, but please wait to post them until January!The FANSPLOSION twitter account will be retweeting works posted to the hashtag #FANSPLOSION.

What Can I Create?
Any medium of fan content is allowed, whether it be fanart, fanfic, or even podfics!Do you count crossovers as multiple fandoms?
Crossovers do count for multiple fandoms! If you'd like, you could even create 15 crossover works that would count for 30 fandoms!How many people can I have in my team?
Teams may have up to 6 members. With that many, each member only needs to create 5 fanworks.How do I find a team? Will I be assigned one?
Teams will not be assigned. You can use the #find-a-team channel on our discord or just team up with a few of your friends.

How do teams work?
Teams allow you to work together to reach 30 fanworks in 30 fandoms. You may not be interested in creating for 30 fandoms, but with a team you may only need to create for as few as 5.Team Ideas
If you want, you can also impose extra restrictions on your team to make the FANSPLOSION more interesting. You could:- Limit all works by genre (all Sci-Fi for example)
- Make each piece about a strong female character
- Require that each work includes a particular item (Everything needs a watermelon!)
- Or anything else you can think of!
